Lockhart's Barber College has been open since 2014 and has produced hundreds of high quality barbers. Our class sizes are small (12 students) but our clientele is vast and diverse! To properly prepare for a career in barbering, you MUST be able to practice on real clients--more barbers leave the trade shortly after graduation simply because they didn't receive the proper training on actual people while in school. That doesn't happen here. We average 16,000 services a year on REAL CLIENTS. our graduates leave with anywhere from 1,300-1,600 services+ completed and they are appropriately trained to go to a shop and begin their career. This sort of real shop experience on real clients is EXACTLY what you need as an aspiring barber and it is something most other schools simply cannot offer.

OUR WORK

At Lockhart's Barber college you won't just learn barbering, you'll practice it in a real shop atmosphere with your fellow students on real clients! We have built a large client base in central illinois over the past decade plus. That means our students work on real clients, develop their communication skills, build a stable foundation which enables them to build confidence behind the chair while developing their own unique style.

Located on the southwest side of Decatur, LBC has established itself as the premier school for aspiring barbers in Central Illinois while also providing outstanding quality and affordability to our clients.
